St
Michael’s Pre-School is in Martlesham Heath, not far from
Ipswich. The Pre-School is situated in the extension of St
Michael’s Church and has been running as a registered playgroup
since 1993. We provide a safe, stimulating, fun and friendly
environment that children enjoy.
The
Pre-School is run by a committee of Parents and Members, who are
elected each year at an Annual General Meeting. St Michael’s
covers a number of policy statements such as, Child Protection, Health
and Safety and Equal Opportunities.
We
are regularly inspected by Ofsted (Office for standards in education)
to assess the quality of the Pre-Schools provision, and we are due a visit very soon. A copy of the
latest report is available by clicking the Ofsted tab on the left.
St
Michael’s Pre-School welcomes Fathers, Mothers, other relations
and carers including Child-Minders and Nannies, and people from all
cultural, ethnic, religious and social groups, with or without
disabilities.
